Saving Spalding Pets

I am part of a volunteer group of people dedicated to rescuing animals awaiting death by "gas chamber" methods. These are the animals at one such shelter, the Spalding county animal shelter in Griffin, GA.

AO6-3344 GOLDEN RETRIEVER/COLLIE MIX-ANNIE-ADOPTED!

Annie was found as a stray by someone who kept her for a while, but then decided a dog is too much trouble; so Annie was dumped at the shelter. She is a senior, at least 10+ years. She has been shaved in a terrible version of a lion cut. When grown out, it looks like her coat will be long and fluffy, with classic sable and white markings like a Collie. I am sure Annie is missing her original owners, but if she cannot be returned to them, she deserves to live out her days in comfort and security in a new home. Please help her. HER LAST DAY ALIVE WILL BE NOVEMBER 21.
